Home Assessments & Fall Prevention Assessment
Studies have shown that people function better in a familiar environment where they are comfortable and performing at their best possible level. It is the goal of our licensed Occupational Therapist to ensure that the patient’s environment is safe and promotes greater independence and quality of life. The process starts with an interview with the client and caregivers, an evaluation of the client’s functional challenges, assessment and review of the clients living environment, and recommendations and follow-up training. Individuals who are enrolled in Medicare and have a decline in functional status or safety may qualify for an Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment under Medicare Part B benefit.
